Thanks a lot for the new link. That was exactly what I was searching for. Is there a good local source for spare parts at reasonable prices as I'd like to buy in Oz but a set of rings here are $45 plus postage on ebay when I can get the same OEM ring set from the USA for $10 plus postage.
Also this my first mower project. If the cause of the smoke are the rings and the piston is standard size after preparing the bore...cross hatching with emery cloth should I go up to 0.10 oversized ring set or stay with standard size...I assume either way I keep the standard size piston? Any help is appreciated.
