Hi Dave, a coring machine has round tynes that aerate the lawn (a bit like digging a fork straight down in the soil) but removes the small plug of grass and soil as it moves along the amount depends on the coring depth that the machine is set at....this has to be raked up after. Whether that can be re-used is a question best asked of a greenskeeper.... wink
