Hi guys, I was almost tempted to say in my first reply this morning, that I suspected that Chris's machine was not in fact a Scott Bonnar....what sparked this idea is that as far as I know, Scott Bonnar did not manufacture a cylinder mower in Adelaide that had a 2HP Briggs factory fitted.
Also the belt issue had me tossed; though the Model 33 had both belt (primary) and secondary chain drive.

The machine is actually a Morrison, made in Hastings New Zealand and badge engineered as a Scott Bonnar.
This machine is also badge engineered itself; it started its life as a Victa Imperial! grin

[More is known now about this machine. It started life as a Ransomes!]
