from looking at parts in the shop, the Vortex uses a different (short?) Decompresser (not sure what that is when its at home)
so I can only guess thats "possibly why" they say " A " position
(and thats for the masters here to comment on cause I got no idea)
All the brackets are very confusing.
Im assuming that you do not know what a decompressor is and how it works.
Do you know what the valve in a 4 stroke engine looks like??
On a victa the decompressor is made up of a valve down the center and it is open at rest to bleed off compression. The big silver dome at the top has a diaphragm in it and when vacuum is applied above the diaphragm it pulls the valve shut.
