Thanks for the prompt reply. I had to let the blade nut soak last night in WD-40 and have removed the blade plate this morning. There doesn't appear to be any moisture?
In my vain attempt to remove the blade plate I stupidly put a socket on top of the flywheel nut and a spanner on the blade nut. I then retightened when I realised that is not how you get the blade plate off. Now when I try to pull start the mower it is very jerky? I still have the blade plate off. Have I stuffed something?
