No, I've never heard of it before Sparker, I just have a habit of suspicion, so I read the ad in detail. The seller has explained its weaknesses quite clearly, s/he just hasn't made that information very prominent. I'd say that is what sellers usually do (except for the ones who don't tell you about the problems at all, of course). If I were selling it, I'd say "For non-washable indoor use - see other product for outdoor or washable use." However I'm conservative - long ago I had the job of editing/checking a series of owner manuals, and I put in so many warnings against obscure risks that the Marketing department rebelled.
