Hi Deejay, Thanks for the help in regards to a service manual for scotty 45.
I have just purchased two 17" model 45's, so will be doing rebuild on both in the coming weeks. one has a 1986 3hp briggs & stratton with no catcher and the older of the two has a 1977 2.5hp briggs & stratton. This older one has me stumped as the catcher has a craftsman decal and has straight handle bars. The catcher does look a little different in colour though.. so please help? Is this the original catcher decal? If not do you know what it should be for both. I could not find any info about craftsman 45's.. I will upload pics when i get a chance.. Can't wait to start the rebuilds.. Cheers....
