both rods in the engine had nipped and it broke one and put it thru the block behind the starter



when i pulled it down all the fins on the engine where chok a block full of dirt grass etc and i recon it was over heating there was no metal in the oil so to speak and the bores are in good nick.it had broken one ring on the rod that didnt break there was a piece about 10mm long in the wash up bowl
