Thanks for the advice Grumpy. I have to admit to becoming a little frustrated with it and felt like giving up yesterday. The problem I seem to face is where the filler hole is placed in the tank and the position in relation to the grommet. I can't get my fingers in there to properly push the gromet down and maintain a seal. I'll follow your advice and have a good look at the shape of it.
After a walk around the garden I'll try again!!!!!!!
