Funny stor for ya Ken, I took my little colt out to a job today to help my boss get his place done. The grass was easily 1m tall.
He was using a huge ass MTD yard machine, with a Big briggs on it. The little rover ran rings around it, In the end it worked out best for me to do the first cut and him follow being me to cut a little lower.
Even with the grass cut down to 20cm or less he had to crawl though it while I finished up, dropped the deck on the rover lower and ran past him again.
Problems for the day.....
Blew the cutting belt on both mowers (mine was RS anyway....) Got a new one and kept going
Blew the gearbox belt on mine 30 mins later, easy fixed $12 for a new one.
All in all this is a ripper of a mower.
