I've seen images on how that cheap tester is meant to work Norm ,with different coloured light for spark condition
but if you say you couldn't work out how it was supposed to work ,I'm thinking these cheap testers are kind
of useless unless you use them in the dark as I've had a few cheap spark testers and cheap timing lights and
unless you are in a dark room you can't see the light.
