It seems to me that an older Craftsman 1.9/12" saw suddenly started to burn rich, but not a constant rich, all at once. Someone I met at the library suggested that maybe the carb pump diaphram had a hole it it but I can't discern any hole in either diaphram. Have I just not seen the hole or is there any chance of oil somehow leaking from the chain oil tank into the fuel tank?
Or maybe the problem is elsewhere? Could anyone be so kind as to offer any suggestion?
I'm almost 99% sure that the gas/oil mixture ratio is not the problem. Thank you for any assistance anyone is willing to give.
Sincerely,
R. Smith
