Hi AVB,
Apparently this motor is a replacement for a pole saw/line trimmer so in the horizontal position the primer bulb is at the bottom of the carby but in this position with the motor as a vertical shaft on the tiller the carb is horizontal with the primer bulb facing the front. Couple of small issues
the fuel pick up grommet is now in the side about half way up the tank ( not a big issue as it has quite a big tank so half full is plenty of fuel) The filler is a bit difficult to fill as instead of being straight up it is on an angle and the worst bit is the exhaust now points straight up and blows smoke into your face. Apart from that it works fine and they claim this motor is for commercial use, not that commercial use is any better if it is straight fueled
