I bought a replacement motor for a little tiller , so annoyed with the owner, they must think we are fools. I got the thing running for him after he bought it on ebay and 2 days later brings it back telling me something is wrong with it. Had a quick look and on screwing the spark plug out it was squeaking so I told him it had been straight fueled but he assured me he had explained it to his wife how to mix the fuel and it obviously had mixed fuel in the tank, obviously put in after the motor had stopped. Pulled the barrel off and it was totally screwed as I would have expected after removing the spark plug.
Anyway my question is with the replacement motor the carby is on its side (must be off a snipper or something) and I'm wondering if they will work on their side as I have never tried running one like this. I guess there is only one way to find out unless somebody knows if it will work.
