I was going to collect a few Kirby flywheels and coils as a few motors are missing them but I have scrapped a few more
mowers so I may have enough.
The metal is 25 cents a Kg but the scrapper separates light metal from heavy metal
so they
obviously get payed more for solid steel but pay the seller the same rate.
The scrapper near you for metal is around $60. for about 250 kg
Alloy is down $1.30 a Kg.
