Nanda,

Could be one of three things which are:

1. Blocked fuel filter in tank.

2. Blocked fuel filter in carby.

3. Carby diaphragm need replacing.

Have a look at these things as I am sure that it is one of them unless it has been run on straight petrol. cheers2
