Question,

the finish has a high level of gloss. The original finish on the rest of the base is semi gloss and I don't recall this much gloss on others or when they were new.
I have a can of Rustoleum satin clear. Should I bother with a layer over the top or be content with such a spot on shade?

PS, think I'll just leave it.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
