Brilliant ideas there always a big help if you can see what is going on in those carbs. I haven't had any issues with the needles sticking/leaking since I started polishing the seat. I was getting about 50% of the new needles and primer caps with the needle holding up in the seat before I fitted them and always hoped the weight of the fuel above would be enough to release it. Some would release, some wouldn't and some would not reseat .Since I I started polishing the seats I have not had one fail. Not sure if I have a 4 ring jet but I will have a look today. I have a mountain of snorkels in the back shed with carbies still on them.
