I thank you for your concern about my ongoing possum problem. At the moment it seems the dog is winning, I'm hopeful they have started to realize it just isn't worth the hastle of being chased from the yard every time they come in. He races out and barks at them and most of the time in the middle of the night I don't have to go out and drag him back inside.
As for the PT not wanting to fire I have no idea, except that maybe I had 2 dud plugs and the third one worked. Swapped then around so much not sure if that might have been the cause. I wouldn't expect 2 dead new plugs in a row.

No I'm not going back through the 50 odd dead PT's here, I still have 50 running ones here to deal with. I was a bit sad when my grandson too it out of the box to use but it had no emotional connection to him, just another mower. I guess kept in a box for the next 50 years they might be collectable. I forgot to ask him if he kept the box, that might be worth something in 50 years Apparently it also came with the rear sidechute we were discussing a few days ago.
