I think Norm is currently busy deeply contemplating having to retest the pile of other PT's which also didn't peep with a shot of ether.
Is the port scavenging that poor on these that half it gets blown out the exhaust before it can be ignited?
Maybe a thimble full of liquid 2 stroke mix might be better for this purpose

Wonder how many will spend eternity in the box?
I personally would have bought 2 - but couldn't justify it at the time; and still can't when you can still readily buy lightly used alloy deck models with the VSX engine for no more than $300
