it is all to do with the clever electronics in the module. As you know the cam lobe,points and condenser become obsolete once you fit a module. Electronics can do amazing things as we are well aware of in our everyday life these days, just think of what your phone can do and don't ask me to explain how they work either. Then you can have Alexa on your phone to do a million things, hard to work out where we are heading with all this artificial intelligence so your little module on the mower is really in the lower end of the scale of smart things now
