both these labels signify the passing of the baton from the side pull full crank to the newly introduced Powertorque engine which had electronic ignition standard unlike the outgoing full crank.
They were being sold in an overlapping fashion where there was a period they were both available on new models at the same time. Whether the full cranks were still actually being made or inventory of existing full cranks were being sold is unknown.
The use of SS on various labels for the PT likely indicates the exact period they were sold at the same time.


Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
