I imagine a catcher would make it much harder though neater.
I had a massive yard and in 13 years living there I only mowed it all at once once! It was just too much, even for someone who doesn't mind doing the job.
All other times I split it over two or three days.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
