I decided to try and adapt a spare dress cowl to improve the Frankenmower's appearance a bit.
Some plastic had to be cut on the rear to clear the Mustang petrol tank on there as the petrol tank from this dress cowl won't go on this base.
A tiny corner needed cutting off the right hand edge as well to clear the VC's high arch. I don't know why a previous owner had to cut off so much of the old dress cowl which was the same as this.
It looks much better now. I just need to fix some play where the LH handlebar stem meets the body as the catcher doesn't sit right as a result of the drooping bar.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
