Exactly: "strong and stable" is the aim.
I'd like to get it up say 700mm so I could sit alongside it on a wheely-seat thingy while reaching under it.
My workshop roof doesn't allow a chainblock option overhead, unfortunately.
At the moment I'm thinking of riding it onto metal loading ramps that I have, laying on the floor, and attaching cross members to make a rectangular frame.
Then jacking up each end with a floor jack and putting besser blocks under the corners.
But I'd weld something up if I find a good design.
