Bruce, carby has no numbers at all on the outside. It has the number 40 on the air inlet behind the choke butterfly. If this helps the choke butterfly has the numbers 62-36 and the throttle butterfly the numbers 34-46. I have been doing some research on Mac 15 chainsaws and I think they were fitted with a Tillotson HC-13A carby. Thanks. Matt.
