G'day everyone,
Speaking of wheelbarrows I took some photo's of my original Daytek Australian made wheelbarrow which was bought new around the mid 80's I reckon. Around the mid 90's the steel centre part of the original wheel had rusted away and crumbled and was no longer usable. The replacement of just the wheel was too much so I just threw an old bicycle wheel on it with some mods. This wheel on it now is the second bicycle wheel I have installed on this around 10 years ago now. It does the job for moving around soil and lawn clippings etc.
It seems this Daytek company has been around for a long time here in Australia and they have a factory down the road from here and they actually still sell new wheelbarrows that are very similar to this one that was purchased over 30 years ago!
I probably should just go and buy a brand new larger wheelbarrow from these guys...lol
