009 is basically an arborist saw, designed for one handed use up a tree, You'll want something a bit bigger generally. As with everything these days rubber gets old and perishes, so they are quite common for doing crank seals. I haven't worked for a stihl shop for about 6 years but back then parts were getting harder to get for the old stuff. air filters and carb kits are fine but anything like starter related you could almost forget it. Also they never had any anti vibe mounts so they kill you're hands if you're using it often.
Personally I steer way clear of the German stuff, I much prefer shindaiwa, even the small huskys.
