Beautiful mate, I'm a big fan of anything with a Victa engine, and as for the scotty, I'm hoping to have one myself one day!!

Cheers, the scotty is my everyday user at the moment, the victa runs but needs some TLC before ill use it, i was lucky to save her from the scrap pile

Cheers mate, that would be awesome, I love looking at these machines, I'm particularly keen to see the carby on the imperial, another one of our members recently popped up a few shots of the G3 modified for the Imperial, and it's very interesting.

My Question is how did the Imperial compare against the Smaller SB's and how were they considered by those in the trade when new.

from what i can gather, the scott bonnar is really all that was ever used on bowilng greens (queens mower) no one seems to know that the victa even exists.

Hi again Gizmo, you're right there mate, Scott Bonnar made their name primarily from professional turf equipment, and as you say, the 'Queen' electric for bowling greens...in fact, heaps of them are still in use today. However, the Victa Imperial was popular in some quarters...the RAAF used them on some bases as surrounds mowers and some Shire Councils as well. In New Zealand they were marketed as Morrison mowers and badge engineered as Scott Bonnar as well!! How about taking some more pics of them and start a new thread...
