Hi Guys, I am new to the forum. Congratulations on a nice job on the Victa Tilt-a-cut Edger. I recently bought one of these second hand and it is a great machine, but the previous didn't have a manual to give me. Do you know were I can get one? Also, I had a bit of trouble recently when changing the blade, I couldn't keep the shaft locked while I was trying to tighten the nut. Is there a trick to this that I should know? Regards Lou.

Hi Lou14, and a big warm welcome to the forum.
To tighten the blade correctly, you place a metal rod or screw driver through the hole on the blade guard (you can see the hole in the pic on mine above in my post)and out the other side of the outer blade guard which will arrest the blade whilst you tighten the nut....Don't forget to replce the split-pin after.
