I never added this new info regarding year, models and interstate selling previously because I thought you had all the info on them...
G'day Mal
Thank you for that response to my article. Um, No, I can never have
"all the info."The info keeps changing as new records from newspapers and magazines are digitized.
It's nice to see these records again though - it shows that correcting, cataloging,
and tagging actually works very well. But it is a time-consuming process

The ad you supplied was corrected & tagged by me this year, after new digitization
records from the
Biz had been made available by the National Library.
See: http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-title256The
Biz is of particular interest to me because it was a local paper (1917-1980),
reporting in the heart of Sydney lawnmower production during the rotary revolution.
But other local Sydney - and Melbourne - papers are equally important.
This is a classic example of how
History Records will be updated as
new information becomes available. Copyright issues remain problematic.
It is a continual process - 'troving' for new information.
I'm glad you have "found a few cool things". Please share if relevant
Hope this helps.-------------------------
Jack p.s. for the record:-
the ad HT6 supplied (above) was from the
Biz, Wednesday 6 April, 1960.
