Hello ODK members,

The VICTA VAC has been an enduring and successful product,
appearing in their catalogues for over four decades.
It is in their current line-up and the petrol version retails for over $2,000!

When I was researching I came across a couple of ads for a Litter-Vac,
"Designed and Manufactured" by Sydney's Alex Grahame Pty. Ltd.
[I have written about Alex Grahame elsewhere on these forums]

The thing is, it looks remarkably similar - if not identical - to the Victa Vac,
and it was "Designed and Manufactured" a decade or more before the Victa product.

My conclusion: Victa bought the licence or copied the Alex Grahame machine because
of no patent restrictions.

All very interesting.
