Hi again Goodwin, I have made some inquiries for you and may have source a rear roller segment for you....Now some Scotty 20" machines had 3 segments to the rear roller; 2 large on the outsides and 1 small in the middle, some had 2 larger sized rollers. We need a pic of the rear of you machine to correctly identify which yours has. I think I can see the split in the centre of the roller, but I would like to be sure. Can you take a pic for us please?. Thanks mate.

Hey Deejay thanks for sussing out the rear roller for me. The rear drum has the two large rear rollers. Not the three roller type. I was interested in the rubber rear rollers like the one on the south African made Protea. Are these 20" scotty's getting harder to find because i can't find any that are selling for a resonable price???

Hi Richard, there are a couple of places that can supply Scott Bonnar spare parts and you may be able to get a complete rear roller set for your machine....I don't know what it will set you back though, I will send you a PM with the details. Regarding Protea Turf Equipment, I have made some inquiries, they are a South African company...no Australian dealers appear on their website, maybe you could try the contact link on their site abd send them an email...

Thanks Deejay
I actually rang Keith from Turf Machinery Services and had a chat about the rear rollers. He said Scott Bonnar did bring the 20" out with the twin piece roller. Which I was happy to hear. The thing with my 20" is that it's a bit of a bitza. It has no model number plate. So a bit hard to know its birth date.
But i'm always interested in where I can get spare parts. I'm guessing a rear roller set would be quite costly.
I might have to get the the crack V cut and mig welded.
I'll check my PM's mate. Thanks for the time to check it out.
Richard
