Howdy Members!

After a long time pondering, reading, and somewhat researching the two Annie's i have, not to mention the kind words and feedback i've received from here, rather than modify these girls, i have decided to leave the 88' and 89' as is and revive them one at a time with a restoration. Hence starting a new thread.

The Tractor I have will now be the starting point for ProjectX.

Following on from my project thread (here) I pulled out the first lady as it was her time for a clean.

She was full of dirt and the rear paneling was actually rusted into place and not budging. Quite difficult to remove without damaging the panel.

An hour later, panel removed with no apparent damage and i was able to start pressure cleaning it.

After a good hour or so comparing the 88' to the 89' (and noticing a few subtle differences between the two?) I have decided to first tackle the 88'.
Both have there good and bad points, the 88 seems to have more good points, Plus being a centenary year, i think this one will be a good build/restoration.

Few pics of the 89' from this morning's bath.

It's amazing just what a strip and clean can do. Looks like the steering wheel came off ok. I put one in my press trying to get it off and I gave up, all that was going to happen was to break the wheel

Evening Norm!

The steering wheel on all 3 had been easily removed, the rear panel n this one was tough! 3 metal components all rusted into one. Pressure cleaner, wire brush and some elbow grease got the job done though.

Ive just starting knocking up a larger capacity sand blast cabinet to hopefully get the body work done soon plus have the ability to blast anything and everything prior to rebuilding/painting.

Thanks for the reply Norm.
