G'day all, I picked up this greenfield ride on for $50 a few months ago and decided id restore it. Thanks to the great people on these forums I discovered it was a hd8. So I've decided to post the photos of the project so far.

the fella even refabricated the whole rear end out of stainless steel!

engine had no spark so after a bit of troubleshooting, I removed the engine cowling to discover that all of the screws that screw into the flywheel were missing and the screws are like small magnets that correct the polarity of the flywheel magnets or something like that.

Welcome to the ODK forums.
There is an increasing interest in early Australian ride-ons.

I think a number of members will be following this one.
It is interesting that many of these machines came out of Queensland:
Rover - Cox - Greenfield. The trio of cane-toad cutters laugh

All made great machines.
