Hello ODK History Lovers
It's a rare treat that a lawnmower trade-in list survives.
This one - from my collection is in good condition and it covers the 1967 - 1968
Lawnmower season.

This is an important historical document about AUS lawnmowers.

KEY NAME SEARCH LIST:
Alex Graham, Amplion, Ashford, Atco, Austral-Villiers, Barclay, Bunyip Myti-mo, Carter,
Champion, Colda, Collectomatic, Crowe, Clyde, Eclipse, Eric Anderson, Everyman,
Gardener, George, Grasshopper, Grassmaster, GMF Multimower, HG Palmer, Hornet,
Hurricane, Huskee, Ladybird, Lawn Cub, Lawn Scout, Lawn Patrol, Lawrence, Loukon,
Mayfair, Minter, Mofast, Ogden, Pace, Park Lane, Pathfinder, Platypus, Pope, Qualcast,
Rota Chief, Rotoscythe, Rover, Sunbeam, Super Merc, Super Swift, ST James, Scott
Bonnar, Southern Cross, Stromberg Carlson, Tad, Tecnico, Turner, Victa, Villager,
Walmac, Wasp, Whirlwind.

There is a lot of good, credible evidence here too.
I have written about most of these lawnmowers at some point.
A few makes/models remain a mystery ...?

Just like other period lists (e.g. spark plug lists; spare parts lists) these publications
contain errors. Note how this list presents an odd mix of maker and model names.
After all, the intention was to give lawnmower dealers a guide!

PART TWO - The Trade-in Guide.
This document is pocket-sized - in every sense of the word.
Designed to fit into a salesman"s pocket, I guess it was whipped
out at the appropriate moment when folks traded-in their old mowers.

Note how value is now expressed in dollars and cents; being an early
guide published just after decimal currency was introduced to Australia.

As always, I make this scan available for personal use to
Members. Perhaps your old mower is listed here?
