Hullo to the experts
Despite deciding to do no more for a while, I have just found this Imperial that took my eye, so while waiting for parts to come from Mother England for the Suffolk Punch, the Victa looked like a good project.
Would I be correct in assuming somewhere around mid 70's?
Parts appear to be thin on the ground according to a few web searches, does anyone have ideas for a good supplier (bearings etc.)?
Thanks in anticipation
John A aussie

G'day John
My interpretation of the numbers makes this a 1974 Imperial.
The 2-strokes were introduced in 1972.

This is a 16" in what appears to be good condition.

I have written about them here:
https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=72729

A good, solid design based on the British Ransomes MK7 design.

Parts: depends what you want.
Generic wearing parts may still be sourced. Bearings from a good bearing supplier.
Other bits may require ingenuity ... and tenacity.

Many thanks for the great image record!

Cheers

Thanks Jack,
And thank you for your information.
As you say, it is in good order, I just don't understand how someone can throw good machinery out like old scrap
Cheers
John

As they say "one mans scrap is another mans treasure" and ain't that the truth.

Cheers,
BB.

I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.
