G'day Kye and Norm

Best of luck with reaching 1000 members.
It's a great site for commercial activity.

I guess it helps keep sites like eBay honest, although
the danger is that those rewards may continue to go to the seller
rather than the buyer.

Your site has also 'discovered' some lawnmowers that would not
have otherwise come to notice, because of the less-formal
expectations of social media platforms - rather than the more
rigid, moderated forum platform, like ODK.

I simply do not have the time for social media, as I think you understand.
But I encourage folks to check out VM:BS&S.

All the best in this endeavour.

Usually it is a way for teenagers to share pictures of themselves, but there has been a growing amount of pages for collectors, tins, bottles, cars, mowers, tools etc, its hard not to find a page for your hobby. When I first joined there wasn't any pages to sell any vintage mowers, so I made my own.

I think thats why Facebook is becoming so popular, theres no fee's. If you get $1000 for a rear auto flap on eBay you only get about $900 or so when on Facebook you get the whole $1000. Buyer pays the same, but you get more. I have been trying to keep issues as low as possible, we have only had one big problem and the member left before then. This sadly also ended up with the Rawco being scrapped. These are the members we don't want.

I agree Jack, a person will see my page, click join and Bam! there in. Instead of having to do the ODK sign up process. Then they just post a picture of the mower in there garden. I can only see them coming to ODK if they really wanted to identify there mower bad.

Thanks Norm and Jack!
