Hello
ODK History Lovers
This tiny brochure sums up the Victa Range for
1961-62.
There were four models: The Victa
Sheerline, The
Four Star, The
Utility and the
Standard.
The brochure measures 5 x 6 and is presented in green and white. No full-
colour brochures yet. Of note is the new Sheerline cowling, quite angular and
less appealing than the original, streamlined Sheerline cowl of 1960. This may
have been done to accommodate the new
Impulse starter.
The original Sheerline cowling has now gone to a revised Victa Standard.
I guess this would be the penultimate year for the Standard, and the original
toe-cutter base would be restricted from then on to the Victa Utility
(introduced in this year). The Victa Four Star was Victas contribution to the
rapidly emerging 4-stroke lawnmower market.
