Hi Guys, Recently doing up old Morrison. Will replace belt and need to adjust clutch cable. When clutch is pulled on handle, drive is still engaged at roller and blades. At adjustment point in side cover should I turn the adjuster clock-wise or anti-clockwise to completely disengage the drive ? And should there be any slack or take - up in the cable before engagement ? Thanks for any help. Ric

You have probably already played with it but I guess the
obvious direction would be to screw the cable out from the
block that holds it - pushing the lever downward, and increasing
the spring tension, thus moving the jockey bearing outward.

Unfortunately, I do not have a manual for this model Morrison
or the Scott Bonnar 690 that also used this system.
