You could something this but crimping could be a problem without right tools. For professional crimp it uses an open barrel crimper.
These should be at the auot parts supplier and do make these adjustable (bendable)versions too.

Thanks AVB :), I'll check it out, though I think the insert hole in the boot might be too small.. it's about 2-3mm opening.. ill check it out anyways

Hi,
I think I just used a self tapper and put the Victa boot straight over it. Not sure now, is that the way the plug wire is stock in your photo? If it is I probably did not need a self tapper, just put the Victa boot straight on. Has worked very well for a few years now.
Al the best

I'm not following

.. you used a self tapping screw? slipped the boot over the spark plug and self tapped to make contact ?
As far as i'm aware, yup I believe it's the stock wire.. though I think this boot/wire came from a VICTA VC160 mower.
I can send you a Chonda cap for the price of the postage and you can just shorten the lead a little and screw it on. Let me know if you want it, it is never going to get used here.
Thanks Aussietrev

. Any idea on postage cost though? If it's possible to send as a large letter (Up to 260 x 360 x 20mm
Up to 125g), Ill take it

.. think its about $2
Regards,
