carbi settings on an "old" Stihl FS 80

Hi all

I recently inherited an "old" metal cased Stihl FS 80 trimmer. I had it running like a dream for a short while. I have changed the air filter but now it wont go. It will start but konks out seconds after start with no chance of throttle. Does anyone know the tuning settings on the carby? I have had a bit of a play with turning the adjustments but to no availe.

Try replacing the fuel filter in the tank first and if that does not work then replace the diaphragms. cheers2
