HI All, the comments in this thread makes for interesting reading. I have recently (yesterday) been given a scott bonnar cylinder mower(electric) with no charger / electric cord. Where can i get one so that i can know where to begin with the restoraton.

A warm welcome from me.
This is a Model 40 Mains Electric, meaning it won't
have a charger. All it's missing is the cord.

as it is not a Model 45.

Where can i get a motor for it? I got this one without a motor.

I am hesitant to convert it to petrol powered as i would like to restore it to close to its original form.

I could accommodate you with the correct motor. I'm located in Adelaide and as such I have found a really cheap costing courier company that could probably ship it for around $20.
