Not sure if the spring has become dislodged or it has lost tension. All of a sudden catcher falls off when even a small amount of grass is in the catcher, what do you think? Sorry but couldn't rotate photos. [Linked Image]

the right hand side tag is missing from the spring tiger, it should be sitting on the top of the chassis where the paint is missing.
if the tag has broken off you will need a new spring, if it's still there, it will just need to be relocated.
to do this, you need to tap the rod out through the flap till it's about half way through the spring,
the spring needs to be twisted so that it sits on top of the chassis, then holding it in this position tap the rod back into place. this should put the slap back into the flap!! have fun mate.

Thanks Squizzy, to get to the rod I will have to remove the bottom handle as there are a couple of nuts in the way of the rod that the flap swings on, I think this job is a lot easier on the Victa where the rod is unimpeded.
