Ummm, maybe I'm in the minority but I'd bid on it if it was the kind of thing I was into, and I was closer. Gotta confess I've paid similar money for resto ride-ons. Having said that, it wouldn't take much to outbid me from here

Looking at the different individuals pictured in this post it seems Tampico had a bit of a dilemma deciding exactly where and how to mount the throttle control. This latest one seems to have a pull throttle with a choke style knob, others have it as a vertical blade style control, as does the one I have, and one has it as a horizontal blade style. It now has three bids and is up to $315. Might have to list mine.

The Falcon sold. Bidding reached $360 with two bidders battling it out. Looking at the bid history it looks like the seller was bidding against his buyer initially but dropped out when the other buyer entered the fray.

I don't consider that an over the top price for such an oddball machine when you consider what people pay for toecutters

Hi Paul, same seller? If so I guess Trev was right, seller was bidding the price up, glad to hear he outsmarted himself. Does he claim the winning bidder failed to make contact?

Only difference is he has jacked the starting bid up to $360, must still think he has some 1950's gem
