if you need closer pics, can do but there are none of those things sticking up from the frame left hand middle. i am having trouble with the axles.

The top one is a VC-160 base not sure which model show me what the height adjuster looks like and I'll be able to tell from that.
The other one is the later model Mustang from around 1981 to 1982.In fact it is sitting on its original cowl.

As i live in bulli i am soaked now. missus said i was crazy, but i have these two spare and they have a bit of damage to the front wheel wells??

OK that is a VC-160 Mark II base.So I guess to answer your original question.No they are both not a VC-125 Mark III.
