Hk30 starting issues

Ok this hk30 takes me forever to start. Once it starts it goes forever but it t�kes 5 mins to start is there any common things to look at? I think it's carb related

What the hell, it runs!

The most common cause of hard starting on a mower that runs properly once it starts, is the choke not closing completely.
