Hi,

I've just acquired another Victa 80 Super 24 2-stroke mower. The engine was seized so I took the cylinder head off and freed the piston.

The cylinder head has 2 spark plugs, one in the top and the second at 90 degrees to the cylinder, however there's only one plug lead which was connected to the plug in the top of the head. Is this correct?

The cylinder head has EN72142-32 and HIGH C on the underside of the first fin, and the carby is made of black plastic.

Can anyone tell me if I need to use a gasket for the base of the cylinder or the cylinder head when reassembling the engine, and what do I do about the 2 spark plugs - have I got the wrong cylinder head for this engine?

Yes you will need a cylinder head gasket and the plug at 90 degrees is where the decompresser goes.
