Help please! I have just overhauled a Victa G4 carby and it runs like a beauty but the throttle is now reversed. It revs hardest when in the OFF position and powers down when in the RUN position. What have I done wrong to cause this?

OMG Shanka I have done just that exact thing myself and I can't remember for the life of me what I did to fix it.It was on one of my Twin cylinder mowers.I think it had something to do with the diaphragm in the carby. I'll have a think and see if I can remember how I fixed it.Unless somebody else can help of course.

Hi Shaka, and welcome to the forum.
I think you may have the 2 springs on either side of the diaphragm the wrong way around or possibly the lifter is upside down. As for the springs the shorter one goes on the inside and the longer one goes on the outside between the diaphragm and the cap.
Here's something that may help.
