Hi Peettee, this is a spectacular looking Scotty, it is so far out of the box, especially when you get your new bits fitted, I would like to see a tachometer fitted ( in a chrome case naturally) between the handlebars above the handle-bar cover....now that would look really cool.... cool

Well done mate...can't wait to see a vid of it doing its thing on the lawn. wink
cheers

Wow we need a like button but that wouldn't do this beast justice.

Deejay a tachometer? What would that look like? Can you get one for stationary engines?

Do tell

Hi Mick,

Yes, you can for a lawn mower engine...have a look here,

A pretty easy fit as well mate, plus the added feature of an hour meter, which would help the oil change regime and maintenance cycles. wink
cheers2

Hi,
Im currently getting a timber ( bull oak ) front roller turned up by a guy in NSW. The roller will have bearings fitted each end, should be a nice retro effect. If any one else is interested in a custom turned roller let me know, you can choose pattern and timber. Cost around $150 -$180 mark, bearings not included. I have drawn up and modelled for reference.

Custom Galv catcher bogged, sanded, masked ready for booth.
The inside will remain galv finish, the remainder with get same finish as rest of mower.
Ive got a retro chrome handle for the front upper section, still undecided what else to add....
Was thinking about naming her using the same chrome lettering theme along the front of the catcher and maybe some chrome pin stripe or flames ?? Any suggestions ??
